About me

I make my hats and headpieces by hand in my small studio in Hove, East Sussex. Many designs can be made to order but I also enjoy working with clients on bespoke pieces.

I have been a regular exhibitor at Handmade Britain’s “Handmade Chelsea” Contemporary Craft and Design Fair, and also hold collaborative pop-up events in London and Sussex.

I have been making hats for over ten years. I learnt my skills from courses at London College of Fashion, masterclasses with materials and techniques specialists such as Bridget Bailey and Ian Bennet - and through making a lot of hats over the years!

I was the winner of an international open design competition held by Lock & Co of St James's (the oldest and best known hatter in the world). My ready to wear design (the "Prospect" fedora) was sold in their shop and online. As a result of this I also interned with the ladies' couture millinery team at Lock, who have been making hats for the royals for generations.
